4.Cook! You really don’t have to be a whiz to profit from cooking. If you do not have a specialty of your own, you can ask your grandmother for her special recipe or check out a recipe book and master how to do it right. After getting taste right, have your women’s organization, church members or officemates sample your finished product and inform them that if they want more of it, they can order from you. Having pre-orders can save you from cooking unnecessary amounts of food and would save you time and money. Having those pre-ordered also guarantees customers for your goodies.

5.Make use of Holidays and Occasions. Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day etc., etc., Make crafts and goodies that are in line with these occasions. There are a number of these holidays and occasions that you can base your products on. For example, if Valentine’s Day is near, you can create personalized love cards, heart shaped cakes, bracelets made from red beads, etc and make home made creative posters to advertise your service. You can again post your posters at free bulletins weeks or days prior to Valentines Day. Again, if Mother’s Day is fast approaching, you can make items or bake goodies that border on Mother’s Day theme.

These are just a few ideas to earn a little cash. Remember, earning a little is better than earning nothing. Do not waste your time and do not waste your creativity and capacity to think. Put them to good use. Use them to earn money!

After it has dried screen must be taped off. This is usually done with masking tape. The areas around edges not coated with emulsion are taped front and back. The screen printer applies tape liberally over frame and screen areas. The screen is then "pin holed". Sometimes imperfections in screen printing process cause tiny "pin holes" in emulsion that’s why these must be taped over or blocked with emulsion or block out fluid. This is done on bottom of screen.

The emulsion can be removed from screens so that screens can be reused. This is called "reclaiming" screen. After print run ink is scraped out of screen and mineral spirits or ink wash is used to clean ink from screen. All masking tape is pulled off screen and screen is sprayed with “emulsion remover.” This chemical is left on screen for 2 or 3 minutes and a high pressure sprayer or even a garden hose can be used to wash away emulsion. After emulsion has been removed screen must be degreased. There are degreasing liquids available also ivory soap works well. The screen is scrubbed thoroughly on both sides and then rinsed. It can now be dried and if kept clean reused. The screens must always be clean and degreased and dry before they can be coated with emulsion.

These procedures may sound very difficult but application is totally easy. See and try screen printing yourself!
