The Right of Passage. Written by Rev.Anthony R. Smith
Continued from page 1 Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. So then we ask ourselves,Do we worship or pray to Saints? No. The Bible is very, very clear on this matter. Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have testimony of Jesus: worship God: for testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and sea, and fountains of waters. Rom 8:27 And he that searcheth hearts knoweth what is mind of Spirit, because he maketh intercession for saints according to will of God. Eph 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by will of God, to saints which are at Ephesus, and to faithful in Christ Jesus: Col 1:2 To saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ. Rev 14:12 Here is patience of saints: here are they that keep commandments of God, and faith of Jesus. I know that there are some who will say,” We are just honoring them.” Thats OK. but who do we honor according to scripture? In New Testament word Honor is mentioned 50 times.1Peter 2:17 Honor all men. Love brotherhood. Fear God. Honor king. 2Ti 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. Rom 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. 1Co 12:23 And those members of body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. Romans 2:10 But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to Jew first, and also to Gentile: So what am I actually saying about Saints and men who worship them and pray to them and hold them higher than others? Saints are called, predestinated, Justified and glorified-only by God. Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. We are all Saints whom believe in name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We need no other justification than our Faith in Him. It doesn’t need to be written down in mans books, that will perish away at end of all things but we are written down in a Book that will never perish and never fade away. The Lambs Book of Life. So what is our right of Passage from sinner to saint? John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 1John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. ars

Continued from page 1 appearance, attitude and goal. We sometimes loose our way because of carnal mindness but are rebuked and reproved by words of God. 1Co 15:1-2 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 1Co 15:1-2 teaches us that even thou we have been saved, we remain accountable for word we have heard and as Paul stated; “By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you” The Church is a child, that is growing up each and every day, not old as some would have you to believe. So as a Child it needs to be nurtured, cared for, Loved and yes, sometimes punished because of disobedience to word of God. The Church has become lax in its duty to God and man, by not standing up against hypocritical and false doctrine, written by man to appease congregations. This is not getting people to heaven but on contrary it is condemning others to hell or a loss of their rewards in Heavan.Lets read a little scripture and think on these things. 1Co 3:13-15 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1Co 8:2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. 2Co 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Gal 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. What does Church think about itself? Does it think its secure in its works, does it think that building on instead of building up, is way of Christ. Has church lost its way, forgetting where it came from. And what about individual Christian, have they also become satisfied with their works enough to stop being a Christian, do you think that being saved is enough to make God pleased with your Spirit? I have read many an artical concerning Pastors and Preachers retiring from this church and that church, but not one would ever give a single scripture passage where Jesus said that we could retire from work that was appointed to us. Not one. “if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you” This is our work, this is our duty to Christ who appointed and ordained us to minister unto Saints. To remind them of who they are and who they are supposed to be. When Christians as, Bishop Dr.Joseph Rankin, REV.PAUL JESUDOSS, Rev. Siani Harpal and Rev. Devanandam Junapudi among others are risking their lives daily to preach Gospel, I wonder and am in awl of Power of God to protect such men in dire situations. Its not President, The King or Pope of Rome that we should be concerned with but with our position with Christ and his commandments. Having compassion one with another, loving one another and getting closer to God and His word. Not giving up but getting on. Getting on with work we were appointed to. Not being lax in our studies, prayer or giving, not just your part to Home Church but giving to those in need, those in peril, those who are on battle field, wealding Sword of Righteousness, Sword of Truth, The Word of Lord. 1Co 9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
