RADIO SERMON PART TWO

Written by Irvin L. Rozier

This is part two (part one previously posted) of a radio sermon I preached in 1994.

Last Wednesday, repparttar Lord began to trouble my soul about allrepparttar 137822 unsaved people that were walking around, unconcerned that their souls were in danger. I had heard this song, "Jesus Is Coming Soon", and whenrepparttar 137823 verse "many shall meet their doom" was sung, my heart began to break. I could just picture thousands upon thousands rushing headlong intorepparttar 137824 pit, without anyone telling them aboutrepparttar 137825 saving grace of Jesus. My soul was troubled, and this lasted from Wednesday through Saturday, repparttar 137826 night I stayed up and prayed for lost souls. I was so burdened, all I could do was cry and groan within my spirit. The Bible states in Matthew chapter 26 verses 36, 37, and 38 "Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith untorepparttar 137827 disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter andrepparttar 137828 two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me."

Jesus gave us an example to follow.

Take God's Word as an absolute -Live outside ofrepparttar fishbowl!

Throughrepparttar 137686 eyes of a fish Inrepparttar 137687 fishbowlrepparttar 137688 fish lives his life looking at his reflection inrepparttar 137689 glass. He sees himself inrepparttar 137690 mirror and only hasrepparttar 137691 ones inrepparttar 137692 fishbowl to compare himself to.

He argues with his siblings some but they are all familiar with each other. They know how they look and act. They eat, swim, and rest.

He doesn't know that life outsiderepparttar 137693 bowl is huge in comparison...

Outsiderepparttar 137694 bowl We sit on this planet earth not realizingrepparttar 137695 outside much ofrepparttar 137696 time. The more we look to Jesus and what has been done for us,repparttar 137697 more we see outside ofrepparttar 137698 bowl.

When we know that His word isrepparttar 137699 truth it makesrepparttar 137700 fish-language we hear everyday seem small and pointless! When we are speaking His Word, we are quotingrepparttar 137701 truth!

God's Word isrepparttar 137702 words of truth from outsiderepparttar 137703 planet earth fishbowl!

Saved When we come to say that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him fromrepparttar 137704 grave we are saved (Romans 10:9,10).

It doesn't matter what we've believed before. It doesn't matter what we've done. It doesn't matter what we've said...

We are moved intorepparttar 137705 kingdom of God.

God made things simple for us because He loves us so much more than we can imagine (Ephesians 3:17-19).

God's Word Is Absolute In order to remain seeingrepparttar 137706 truth clearly then we need to take God's Word as an absolute.

It is completely truth. There isn't part of it that's a lie. There isn't part of it that's wavering inrepparttar 137707 wind in any way. It's absolutelyrepparttar 137708 truth.
