RoomSaver.com Releases Survey Results Profiling Travelers’ Reservation HabitsFebruary 16, 2004, Norfolk, Va. – RoomSaver.com, Web’s most comprehensive source for hotel discounts and a division of Trader Publishing Company, today announced that a recent poll of their Travel Club members concluded that thirty-one percent of travelers prefer to reserve lodging weeks in advance. Members of RoomSaver.com’s exclusive Travel Club responded to question featured in January issue of Traveler’s Tribune, “How far in advance do you typically reserve your lodging arrangements?” Thirty-one percent of respondents prefer to reserve lodging weeks in advance. Rated second, with 26 percent, were those who prefer to “wing it” and make their reservations upon arrival at hotel, while close behind were 24 percent who choose to reserve months in advance.
