SALVATION, HOLINESS AND DELIVERANCEWritten by Rev.Anthony Smith
SALVATION, HOLINESS AND DELIVERANCE. Is Heaven our Destination or our Destiny? Luke 1:74 thru 79. That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all days of our life. And thou, child, shalt be called prophet of Highest: for thou shalt go before face of Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by remission of their sins, Through tender mercy of our God; whereby dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in shadow of death, to guide our feet into way of peace. The first question that we must ask is ,”What is SALVATION, HOLINESS AND DELIVERANCE ? Salvation; Preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil. Deliverance from power or penalty of sin; redemption. HOLINESS; an essential and distinguishing attribute of someone. The quality of being sacred. Deliverance; recovery or preservation from loss or danger. The act of delivering or condition of being delivered. Rescue from bondage or danger. A publicly expressed opinion or judgment, act of delivering from sin or saving from evil, act of regaining or saving someone lost (or in danger of becoming lost), rescuing from error and returning to a rightful course; "the reclamation of delinquent children. SALVATION, HOLINESS AND DELIVERANCE is many things in scripture. Jesus always talked about us as children of God. The Apostile Paul also stated that we are little children in need od these three things. To Jews first and then to gentiles. We must remember that anyone who is not born a Jew are automatically a gentile. That he [God] would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of hand of our enemies [The enemies that Jesus is speaking of are enemies of soul and spirit. The enemies of flesh are always going to be there.] might serve him without fear, [without fear knowing that we are saved by grace thru faith, knowing that once saved and delivered out of hands of our mortal enemies, no one can take us out of hand of liveing God.] In holiness and righteousness [not of our own holiness or righteousness but of those things that are of God.] before him, all days of our life. The life that Jesus speaks of here is eternal life with Him in Glory. #1.Salvation; Preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil. Deliverance from power or penalty of sin; redemption. Deliverance from destruction, 1Co 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for destruction of flesh, that spirit may be saved in day of Lord Jesus. Salvation comes from beliefe in word, which is delievered by ministers of God. Salvation comes by hearing of word. Many are hearing things that they do not understand and it becomes a stumbling block to unlearned. So when many cannot or will not understand word, they reject word with false doctrine. 2Co 10:8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed: We as ministers are not ashamed of authority that has been granted unto us by God to deliever truth of scripture. We do not use our authority to bring destruction upon any one, for that is not in our power. So then is our authority over you to good of your souls? Yes. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. No more sacrifices of bulls, goats nor doves will be accepted. Acts 28:28 Be it known therefore unto you, that salvation of God is sent unto Gentiles, and that they will hear it. All mankind will hear about salvation of God, but not all will believe. Rom 10:10 For with heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with mouth confession is made unto salvation. Salvation comes from Heart and from confession from mouth, as a witness of Grace and Holiness of God. 2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but sorrow of world worketh death. Salvation takes a step of faith. A.Assurance from God on your salvation. 2Co 1:6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in enduring of same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. B.No fear. Phi 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God. C.Enlightnment. 2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also other scriptures, unto their own destruction. D.Enemies of Cross.Phi 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of cross of Christ:

Abraham and The Leather Scroll: The Dead Sea Scrolls continue to be found and there are many interesting discoveries about era and region to be found in them. One of more interesting aspects of these finds has to do with a leather scroll that was written to seem as if Abraham had been its author. Just like many frauds of recent date including Ossuary of James or artifacts attributed to Joash and all manner of other Bible Narrative lies including Ark at top of a mountain we see politics or manipulation of people is paramount. The forgers of this particular document putting words in mouth of great Patriarch who was mentored by alchemist Melchizedek of family of Jesus did not know that modern science would expose them. You can imagine how explosive it would be in present day Islamic world to find this man speaking to them from beyond grave. It would have been important at time of Christ when they did this.
